In response to the needs of policymakers, the ODPRN is expanding its structure to include a new focus on formulary modernization. This program will include a series of studies to respond to requests from Ontario’s drug policy- makers (Applied Health Research Questions), and will implement a novel framework for drug class reviews. This particular study is on atypical antipsychotics and will involve qualitative interviews to investigate contextual issues, barriers and health equity concerns related to these drugs and the social acceptability of policy options. This research will strengthen the innovative collaboration between researchers and policy-makers to effectively inform drug policy decisions affecting the lives of Ontarians.
We are actively seeking personal support workers to participate in an interview that will be conducted via telephone. During the interview, you will be asked questions about your experience with of atypical antipsychotics. You will also be asked about patient adherence as well as patient access to atypical antipsychotics. We value your knowledge highly and will provide you with an honorarium for your time and effort, should you choose to participate.
