2012 PSW of the Year Award: Jonathan Dorotan

Jonathan Dorotan was nominated by Trish Maxwell on behalf of the Saint Elizabeth Toronto Central Service Delivery Centre Leadership team.  In her nomination, Trish described Jonathan as an active member of the team, who is able to work to the full scope of his practice and a champion for PSWs.  He is knowledgeable in additional services that are available to his clients and has an extraordinary way of connecting with his clients with his bright smile, warm personality, sense of humour and instinctive way of relating to his clients idiosyncrasies.  Last year, Jonanthan attended the PSNO conference and brought back the concept of “Changing the Conversation with clients” which has now been instituted as leading best practice and because of Jonathan was being implemented into his colleagues’ daily care routine even before it became an organization wide, industry standard.
